2010 Home Tour Homes

Celebrating the Past and Preserving Our Future

Saturday, July 24th 11AM - 4PM

Get a glimpse into Bellingham's past during South Hill's 2010 historic home tour, co-sponsored by the South Hill Neighborhood Association and the Lowell School PTA.   The tour takes place on Saturday, July 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ticket sales will benefit Bellingham’s newly refurbished historic neighborhood school, Lowell Elementary. Come see the fresh exterior and new landscaping at Lowell School.  Students will sell refreshments and T-shirts.  All proceeds will benefit the Lowell School Green Grass Project.

The five historic homes on the tour reveal the variety of architectural styles and vernacular construction found in the South Hill Historic District. South Hill has 387 houses listed in the National Register, following a survey completed in 2009 by neighborhood volunteers and professional consultants working with the City of Bellingham. The project was funded by a Preserve America grant.

TICKETS to tour the five private homes are $10 per person and will be available on Saturday, July 24th beginning at 11 a.m. at the homes,  and at Lowell School playground.   Advance tickets are available at Village Books in Fairhaven.
Children under 12 years of age are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. No photography or pets are allowed in the homes
