Meeting with Mayor Lund

Mayor Kim Lund was our guest speaker on January 22nd, 2025
It was also our first joint meeting with surrounding neighborhoods. Neighbors from South, Edgemoor, Fairhaven, Happy Valley, and South Hill joined us.

Slides from our Agenda

To make the most of our time with Mayor Lund, we had a full agenda of questions. The slide deck can be found here. [7mb]

  • Located south of downtown Bellingham, and north of Fairhaven Village, the South Hill neighborhood looks over Bellingham Bay.

Bellingham’s South Hill Neighborhood Association welcomes all residents of the area as members. Renters, owners, families, students, businesses and everyone else who wants to be active in their community and learn more about the happenings around town.

The Fairhaven Public library is a favorite of residents. Just south of the neighborhood, our meetings used to take place here. As our meetings grew in size, we have happily had to move our meetings to the Hill Crest Church on Larrabee where we can accept all who are interested in attending our monthly and seasonal meetings.

The president of the South Hill Neighborhood Association, Scott Jones, is a housing advocate, and would like you to know more about affordable housing in Bellingham.
Please take a look at this site, HelpingHousing.org, if you are interested in finding out more.
