- Bellingham, Washington
-
Thank you to the almost 100 neighbors who came out last night, September 27th.
Video of the meeting will be made available here soon.
Or visit us at https://www.facebook.com/southhillbellingham
We had a great conversation with Superintendent Greg Baker about the possible 8' LED Reader Sign that they planned to install on 15th, in front of Lowell Elementary.
Peter Frazier from "Yes, Safe Jail, Healthy Outcomes" told us why we should vote for the upcoming Jail levy.
We hope to have a representative from the "No" side attend our next meeting.
Tristan Smith, from our Climate Corner Series, told us about all the great electrification happening in our neighborhood, and how neighbors who've done it, can help others with questions.
Mayor Seth Fleetwood, and Council Members Lisa Anderson and Michael Lilliquist discussed the metal pile down at the Waterfront and what they were doing to mitigate the noise and pollution. There are no easy answers.
NOTE: As of now, do not call 911, if the noise disturbs you.
